Sceptics thought it would never release, some people thought it was all a hoax but oh no, the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Strawberry Cough’ is here and my oh my was it worth the wait. For those of you who have had your head in the sand for the past year let us just remind you about this somewhat delayed release. Indefinitely postponed over a year ago, with its original release date planned to celebrate ‘420’ 2020 we thought that we'd never see the day that this green and red beacon of fun would grace us with its presence! However, 12 months and countless emails later it's here and ready to go! Designed in collaboration with renowned skate illustrator Todd Bratrud (who is known for having worked on some of the most hyped Dunks of all time) and his cheeky illustration of the coughing strawberry is the key focus of these shoes, spotted on both the side heels and on the insoles. Featuring a bright pillar-box red strawberry style textured leather upper, green hairy suede swoosh and ankle and a clean translucent midsole, the addition of the padded white tongue and sides brings some extra added comfort to these shoes, all of which sit atop the classic cushioned soles. Don't sleep on these as you will regret it!
