One thing’s for sure, this ain’t Nike SB’s first rodeo. The “Rodeo” Dunk is steeped in Western heritage and rustic charm. The suede Tourmaline upper kicks like a bronco, fierce and in your face, whilst tan piping saddles the panels, cinched together with braided rope laces, as a deep black leather swoosh lassos the silhouette.
The finer details found throughout the Dunk are a compelling homage to the rich cultural history of cowboys, ranchers and Western folklore. Adorned on the heel counter, an ostentatious display of thread work, reminiscent of the finest boots in the West. Matching cracked leather heel and tongue tabs evoke the rawness of Western life, whilst the red threading gives Nike SB branding pride of place. The upper is finished with a golden yellow lining on the collar and tongue.
Underfoot, a matching Tourmaline foam midsole offers a lightweight and responsive ride, whilst the contrasting fiery red outsole will have you hot stepping into even the most intimidating saloon. Built for the long-haul, the classic pivot circle adds durable traction, whilst the impact-dampening Zoom Air insole is dressed in custom artwork depicting a cowboy herding cattle on the dusty plains.
