The Dunk du jour arrives freshly steamed, glazed in a zesty Orange Lobster colourway - the latest culinary collaboration from Nike SB and sous-chefs Concepts. Those familiar with Nike SB’s Dunk menu will be well aware of the Lobster Dunk, a rare delicacy previously served in the original primary colours red, blue, and yellow; and later purple and green, with the freshly made orange rounding out the tertiary colour wheel in tangy fashion.

Description
The Dunk du jour arrives freshly steamed, glazed in a zesty Orange Lobster colourway - the latest culinary collaboration from Nike SB and sous-chefs Concepts. Those familiar with Nike SB’s Dunk menu will be well aware of the Lobster Dunk, a rare delicacy previously served in the original primary colours red, blue, and yellow; and later purple and green, with the freshly made orange rounding out the tertiary colour wheel in tangy fashion.
The wholesome flavours of the latest dish draw inspiration from Salvador Dali’s eccentric obsession with the lobster and, in particular, his work on the Surrealist object, “Lobster Telephone”. The clementine crustacean perched atop its vintage rotary telephone is the foundation food for the Nike SB x Concepts Orange Lobster Dunk Low OG, which itself is prepared upon an al dente orange outsole and bien cuit black midsole, lightly peppered with delicate citrus stitching.
Moving upwards, the shoe’s body is an artisan assortment of buttery nubuck layers, a creamy Orange Frost core marinating beneath caramelised outer flake of Electro Orange, dusted with a subtle rouge seasoning. A pillowy mesh tongue of pearly white nestles at the centre below julienned shoelaces, also of a smooth white complexion. The Orange Lobster Dunk is also served with lace-based accompaniments of blue and orange for a personalised dish à la mode.
Hearty swooshes of lightly marbleised leather glaze the lateral and medial side panelling, overflowing with rich orange hues and garnished by tenderly textured white trimmings. Delving within the shell we find full-bodied plaid detailing baked into the plump cushioning and matching the body’s tender oranges and whites. The dish is stuffed with doughy Zoom Air insoles for comfort – lobster farci. Finally, an optional rubberised claw band adds authenticity and premium flavour. Chef’s kiss.
