Introducing the slightly obscure yet incredible Nike SB x Concepts 'Mallard' Dunk High, a curious shoe with a wild aesthetic!
Inspired by both skate culture and the majestic Mallard duck, this slightly odd but epic combination of sport and wildlife has resulted in a Dunk High like no other and one that is defiantly suited to the outdoors.
Created in collaboration with Concepts, the shoe features luxurious materials and iridescent details aiming to replicate the look and feel of a male Mallard duck. Its plush leather has been textured to look like feathers and the fuzzy suede material on the heel aims to mimic duck down.
Additional details such as the toile or linen cloth style scenic print on the insole and collar lining features a flock of mallards and is complimented by an iridescent leather on the tongue and Swoosh reminiscent of a Mallard's colourful head and feathers.
Last and by no means least the rubber outsole draws inspiration from those spindly and somewhat odd-looking duck legs and feet. A completely mad ‘Concept’ that has been executed to perfection.
