Product Description
When Killer Mike said “my Nike pendant sacred, similar to the Ghostface bracelet” on walking in the snow, he might have spoken the Run The Jewels x Nike SB Dunk High into existence. This self-assured shoe takes its cue from Run The Jewels’ most recent work, RTJ4, and sports statement textiles fit for the stage. The Active Pink / Black colourway creates an immediately captivating contrast, amplified by faux pony hair panelling that distinguishes this Dunk from any other and settles over a rich leather foundation; gold Run The Jewels logo embellishments perch over the base of the laces, embodying hip hop’s obsession with opulence, mimicked by the chiselled leather swoosh; a black midsole and vibrant pink outsole touch the ground below, and, out of sight, custom logo insoles can be found in the footbed.

Nike SB are “pulling the pin” on their latest collaboration, a double Dunk drop with incendiary super duo, Run The Jewels. Ten years and four albums deep, RTJ’s braggadocious brand of politically infused hip-hop has propelled them into the mainstream, taking a simple side project between established-but-antonymic solo artists and giving it a global platform - El-P’s grindstone was the gritty, underground Brooklyn scene to the north; whilst Atlanta-born Killer Mike’s wordsmithing wheelhouse had already planted him as a major label artist down south, making his debut on Outkast’s critically acclaimed fourth album, Stankonia. Although worlds apart within the industry, the diametric doublet connected over a shared love of music, and the rest is hip-hop history. Now, celebrating ten years of tag teaming the rap game, Yankee and the Brave partner with Nike SB to present a Dunk Low and a Dunk High inspired by Run The Jewels’ third and fourth studio albums. Two Dunks, two sides of the same coin, just like Killer Mike and El-P.
