Continuing their 2020 takeover Nike SB hit us with yet another skate shop collaboration, this time in the form of the Dubai’s very own Frame Skate.
Celebrating the skate shop’s origin this Dunk Low collaboration dubbed the “Habibi” hits us right in the feels with its elaborate paneling, double stacked swooshes, and serious attention to detail.
Primarily coated in White and Red hues reminiscent of the United Arab Emirates flag, these shoes boast super soft tumbled leather toe boxes and heel underlays, ripstop quarter paneling and heels and abstract shoelaces finished with subtly frayed edges. The detail is crazy good!
Double stacked swooshes are featured on the quarter of each shoe combining Green corduroy with Black tumbled leather with the tongues doubling down and alternating between yin-and-yang tonal logos.
Additionally, the insoles of each shoe split-their branding between the store’s logo on the right shoe and the Nike SB logo on the left, both of which have been dropped onto an all over & contrasting geometric pattern.
Finished with a sail-coloured midsole and matched with a gum outsole these shoes simply scream quality and attention to detail.
